Best Care Liverpool Supports International Men’s Mental Health Week 2026

Best Care Liverpool is proud to support International Men’s Mental Health Week, taking place from 15th to 22nd June 2026, highlighting the importance of mental wellbeing and encouraging open conversations around men’s mental health.

As a care provider dedicated to supporting individuals throughout the Liverpool community, Best Care Liverpool understands that mental health is just as important as physical health. This annual awareness week provides an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the challenges many men face and to encourage those who may be struggling to seek support without fear of judgement.

Despite growing awareness, many men continue to face barriers when discussing their mental health. Social expectations, stigma, and a reluctance to ask for help can prevent individuals from accessing the support they need. International Men’s Mental Health Week aims to challenge these barriers, promote understanding, and remind men that they do not have to face difficulties alone.

At Best Care Liverpool, supporting wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Whether caring for clients in their own homes, supporting families, or looking after the wellbeing of our own team members, we recognise the vital role that mental health plays in living a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life.

Primrose Matesga, Director at Best Care Liverpool said:

“International Men’s Mental Health Week is something we are incredibly passionate about. Mental health affects every aspect of our lives, yet too many men still feel unable to speak openly about how they are feeling. We believe that by raising awareness and encouraging conversations, we can help break down stigma and ensure that more people receive the support they deserve. No one should ever feel that they have to struggle in silence.”

Throughout the week, Best Care Liverpool encourages everyone to check in on friends, family members, colleagues, and loved ones, and to help create a culture where conversations about mental health are welcomed and supported.
